There has been too much going on with a mix of too little. I have moved out of my parents house back out on my own. Its kind of weird living by yourself. Quiet. It has been 3 weeks of cold showers. I have many great books but no chance to actually read any of them. I am without internet or a tv. Banjo is coming along nicely. Christina, for my birthday, bought me a collection of Khalil Gibrans poems and short stories. sooooo good. after this month stuff should hopefully calm down a little.

So on the night we headed back to El Paso we had pulled over into a gas station. There was a slap fest which was amusing and brought a small audience. The tour ended on a beautiful moment, and left me ready for the next tour.

So during the summer Buckeye and By Tomorrow went on tour, all the way up to the Long Island area. It was quite the experience. There are also some gaps in the pictures because I couldn’t find my camera. There are a bunch of random pictures so I am going to have to post this in two segments.

This tour led us through many states, many of which I have never been through. The list includes Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

The van became our home for two weeks. Its something that most people would cringe at the thought of, but it is something beautiful to me. We hit the road with 8 people and a dog with an over sized vagina crammed into a passenger van.

There was a lot of driving to be done. One of our first major stops was in Little Rock Arkansas. We stopped at a McDonald’s/Gas Station. We hung out there for a while then decided to hit the road again. While everyone piled into the van to head out, I decided to buy some chips. So while purchasing my flaming hot fries a huge bitch fight erupted with a slap. It was like watching TV, the people behind the register at the gas station just sat and watched with amusement while more girls appeared out from behind the McDonald’s counter to “throw down”. Nothing like ghetto black girls throwing fists in a McDonald’s/Gas Station for my first impression of Little Rock. I jumped into the van and told everyone else about what was going on, we proceeded to reposition the van so we could have front row seats. Once again we hit the road…

We got down in Memphis and walked around, unfortunately my battery died and I wasn’t able to take some pictures. Cody and I split off from the others and went grocery shopping. Peanut butter, apple butter, bread, bananas, and some cans of off brand Spaghetti-O’s. We then made our way to Nashville. Lalo got really drunk and fell asleep in the car by the time we ended up in Nashville. The others went bar hopping while Lalo, Cody, and I stayed in the van. I managed to finish my book “Pulp” by Charles Bukowski. If you want to hear about the others experience in Nashville read Raul’s Blog.

Eventually we made it to Pittsburgh and it was definitely beautiful. After the show everyone had a good time and the others got a few drinks in them. Eventually the bar closed and Lalo began bustin’ moves and delivering the Peoples Elbow.

A while back Christina and her family invited me to go with them to spend 2 days in Readoso. I had a really good time, I love the wilderness and I always enjoy the hospitality of Christina and her family. Unfortunately this was a while back and I didnt have time to post any pictures from it due to the lack of time. So here are some pictures:

So, this was a while ago but it was too awesome not to mention. Christina took me to go see Tom Waits. He was definitely one of the best performers Ive ever seen.

Earlier this month Buckeye drove up to Denver to play a show with our friend George of the Smiley Kids. Here are some pictures to recap.

There are more pictures that I have to upload, but my camera is in my car at the moment and its raining. I’m too lazy to put shoes on and too lazy to take my socks off so as not to get them wet. Today has been a very lazy day, and I am enjoying every minute of it. Once it stops raining I’ll go and get my camera. As for now Ive been listening to this song “Sadie” by James K. Polk and the Family of Friends. I cant get enough of it! Well I have a very short attention span right now so its getting difficult to write coherently.  So I will leave you with this:

Ive been really busy as of lately and will be even busier still. I will just show you some pictures for now.

Once again Joe and I were back at Val’s apartment doing some recording.

Val was writing the song as he went so we had some time to just hang out as well as help Val figure things out.

I also got a new phone recently, so now I have a new number.

I have a lot to say but its already 3:42am and I am in somewhat of a poor mood so I will leave you with this.

It has been some time since my last real update. Since the start of summer school Ive been really busy. Taking American Government and European Holocaust. In the class we had to watch 4 hours of Shoah, its a 9 1/2 hour long documentary. Its really interesting. I don’t really feel like typing so here are some pictures since my last pictures.

We played a show at this new coffee shop down town.

After that show a few of us went back to Mikey’s house.

After they got a few drinks in, it was decided that everyone should cross the ledge of the pool.

Later in the week we had a show at the Farm in Las Cruces.

After we played we got to watch Andrew Jackson Jihad, and I must say… AWESOME!

Then some time later in the week, we played an ok show at Zeppelins, a shitty venue.

I have more to say but I dont really feel like typing at the moment.

So right now while uploading my photos, I decided to put on a Van Halen record I picked up a little while back, and it is terribly awesome. Every song so far has at least three “ow”s in it and tons of “ooooh yeah”s. It’s funny but I actually like it.

Now on to the good stuff.

I finally heard from Christina after 3 days of nothing, it made me extremely happy.

I decided I dont want to watch TV this summer, so I went out and bought some books.

I have a bunch of other books I really need to catch up on. About 8. My goal is to get through them all by the end of this year. Yea I know that a long time but I am a slow reader.

Recently my cousin Mikey came into town for the summer. Its always good hanging out with him.

“What is Shark?” you ask.

One person is deemed shark.

Decide on the number of times one must be attacked before becoming a shark.

The Shark must take someone under water and hold them for 3 seconds in order to be considered an attack.

Last survivor becomes the shark in the next round.

People (not the shark) are only allowed on land for 3 seconds.

No punching or kicking.

(optional) Have a fun island with a hole in the center.

(optional) Play at night with a bunch of friends.

After the game of shark we all came in a just hung out and played Worms on PSP and Call of Duty 4 multiplayer.

On another note, I couldn’t sleep last night so I went out and tested out the night function on my camera.
